Located in Kachari , just next to the Guwahati High Court , Hotel Brahmaputra Ashok is one of the oldest and most prestigious hotels of whole North East India . And Silver Streak is the pub with a dance floor inside Hotel Brahmaputra Ashok . It started around ten years back as one of the first night clubs of Guwahati . They have renovated the interiors , so it hasn’t lost its charm yet .

The food in Silver Streak is quite good as compared to the other pubs of the city . The cost also is quite less than what is expected of am eatery inside the big hotel . The chefs are very experienced and masters of fast food. The Tandoori Momo is a special attraction of this eatery and a must have .

The service also the scores well on our scale . The staff is really courteous and trained . Speed and efficiency are both present in their work . Most of them can converse quite fluently in both Assamese and Hindi .

The ambiance is great out here . Silver Streak has a rustic wooden interior with complementary soft lighting and an awesome system . The DJ also has a great collection and expertise . If however you are the quiet kind , they also have an outdoor area facing the Brahmaputra .
