Cherry Clafoutis
Cherry Clafoutis is a classic French dessert and this a easy recipe for the same given by Gulshan Alam .
Ingredients :/
The following are the items used in this chocolate cake recipe :
- Three – forth of a cup of all purpose flour.
- Half a cup powdered sugar.
- Four eggs.
- One cup of milk.
- Thirty grams of butter.
- Vanilla essence ( or any flavour of your choice).
- A pinch of salt.
- Cherries according to taste ( fresh or processed ).
Method :
Start by mixing the sugar (leave about 2 teaspoons of sugar for the baking tray ) , butter and eggs . Gradually add the flour and keep stirring , so that lumps are not formed . To this mixture add the salt and vanilla essence and mix properly .
Smear the baking bowl / tray with generous amount of butter and sprinkle about two teaspoons of powdered sugar over it . Make a bed of cherries on the powdered sugar . You can cut the cherries in halves if you want .
Pour your batter into your baking bowl / tray and bake it for about 40 – 45 minutes at 180 degree centigrade . And you Cherry Clafoutis is ready to be served !!
