Ziya

Ziya is located on the Mother Teresa Road , about five minutes walk from Zoo – Road Tiniali . They use the tag ” Luxury Dining ” , and we think that they lived up the the expectations , well almost !!

The ambience of Ziya is quite nice . Simple yet elegant interiors is what is the first thing you will notice when you enter this eatery . Also the soft lighting adds to the soothing experience . But shaky table is what you don’t expect in such a place !!

Service is quite good , both speed and quality wise in Ziya . Our waiter had a good knowledge about the dishes served and their intricate details , which is not available in most other eateries of Guwahati . We did not have to wait much for our food to arrive , so it was a good experience .

We found the food of Ziya quite tasty . The presentation of this eatery is one of the best in Guwahati . The chef of Ziya deserves special respect for the beautiful decoration and plating of the food .

But we found a serious problem with the food of Ziya . Although everything is quite well maintained and decorated , we are not so sure if the same rules are followed in the kitchen . It is highly unacceptable to find a piece of steel wire with your noodles . Although the owner came forward to apologize for this mistake and even offered us not to pay the bill , we hope that this is not repeated ever . Proper measures should be taken to prevent any such events from taking place .

Open During : Ziya is open from 12 PM to 9.00 PM .
