Deka Chang

Natural environment , ample space and good food . Sounds like an interesting place to hang out ? This article is about Deka Chang , Sonapur .

Firstly the food here is awesome . But by that I don’t mean that everything is good here . The Sunga items are very good in Deka Chang and totally worth trying . Pork is one of their specialties , so if you like pork , this is a must visit for you ! Some not-so-much worth trying here are pork dry fry ( turns out to be deep fried pork ) and chilli chicken . Also if you can’t handle hot ( like spicy hot ) , its always good to tell the waiter while ordering . The exact dish you want to have may not be available so be prepared to compromise , specially if its the afternoon of a holiday !

Secondly the waiters are quite well mannered but this being a resort , you can’t expect the first class service of an upscale restaurant . Since most of the dishes are prepared after being ordered ( not precooked ) , be prepared to wait a while for the dishes to be ready . And as any other eatery , service gets slower with increase in customers in Deka Chang .

Thirdly the ambiance is completely natural . You will understand how natural it is , when i say that the central hall is located in a middle of a  pond !! Ample space is there if you have any outdoor activity in mind !

Located off Asian Highway -1 ( National Highway – 37 ) , Deka Chang is located in an absolutely beautiful location near Tea Garden .
