Biryani Centre

Located just next to the very busy Maligaon Chariali , is the main and first Biryani Centre of Guwahati .

The ambiance is quite ok in Biryani Centre . The air conditioners give a great relief from the heat and pollution of the region . The sitting arrangement seems somewhat congested during the peak hours . So you are visiting during the evening or for dinner , you might have to wait .

Food is quite good in the Biryani Centre . Both the taste and the presentation of the food scores quite well on our list . As their name goes , Biryani is their their specialty . And the presence of a caramelized potato in it just enhances the taste . They do provide simple raita alongside the biryani , but sometimes you might have to ask for it . And the tandoori items are also of must try category . Rolls are also quite good in Biryani Centre .

The service in Biryani Centre if quite good and efficient during the non – peak hours , but it normally gets slower and clumsier as the crowd increases . Also we have experience of mistaken orders , so that should be kept in mind while ordering and receiving your food . Although it may take a bit of time for your order to arrive , the food is totally worth the wait !!

Its not a bad option to use the take – away option in this eatery . The packing is quite nice and hygienic in here . We have personally done it many times when the place is too full to sit or when we are getting late .
